Cladonia is a software company based in Galway, Ireland that specialises in developing XML-based products and solutions. We have created
a unique development framework that allows us to rapidly implement and deploy business applications with multiple access channels (web, PDA, mobile
phone) and that facilitates integration with internal applications and external businesses. Cladonia also provides consultancy and custom
development services to a number of national and international companies and is active in the open source community.
Gabriel McGoldrick is CEO and founder of Cladonia Ltd. He is currently acts as a consultant to one of the large American publishing
houses, with responsibility for migrating complex scientific journals to the web using XML and XSL technologies. Gabriel has worked in the SGML/XML
arena since 1986, when he was employed by Digital Equipment Corporation to work in the Publishing Technologies research and development group.
Subsequently he was a senior developer on the ground-breaking Texcel Information Manager product, an SGML document management and workflow solution
deployed by many large defence, aerospace and drug development companies. Since then, he has worked in a variety of industries, developing
intensive-care ventillator products for PuritanBennett, telecoms software for Nortel Networks and CRM/B2B applications for a number of Irish
start-up companies including Marrakech (www.marrakech.com).
Toni Greally is a qualified Management Accountant with over 10 years of accounting experience in various industary sectors including
medical devices, telecoms and manufacturing. Toni has held a number of Senior Management Accountant positions, most recently in a successful
start-up software development company. In addition she has previously worked as an ERP Implementation consultant with Oracle Ireland Ltd and as
a management accountant with multinational manufacturing and telecoms companies.
